I'm curious about the MSI 5070 Ti Shadow 3X OC graphics card and how it stacks up against other 5070 Ti models. Here in France, it's priced at 799 euros, which is about 40-50 euros more than the 9070 XT Mercury. Do you think it's worth it for that price? I'm also open to other card recommendations. My current PC specs are:
- CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 (planning to upgrade)
- Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk Max
- Power Supply: Corsair RM650 (2019) 650W 80+ Gold
- Current GPU: 5700 XT

It's considered the most basic model, so you might notice some fan noise and limited overclocking capabilities. However, I’d still choose it over the 9070 XT because I prioritize DLSS and appreciate being able to run it at lower power to cut down on noise.
Many people say the Shadow version isn't the best 5070 Ti, but it's still a decent cooler, especially if you undervolt it. The performance difference between the top and bottom models is less than 5%, so if there's only a 50 euro difference, I'd say it's worth getting the 5070 Ti. Just keep in mind that there might be cheaper options for the 9070 XT out there.
If the price difference is only 50 euros, I recommend going for the 5070 Ti. For that kind of money, it seems like a solid choice.
