Hey everyone! I recently finished building a PC with an AsRock B650 HDV M.2 motherboard, but I'm having stability issues with my RAM (Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB at 6000MHz). I'm replacing it with a different kit that has CL30 timings, but if problems persist, I might need to consider a new motherboard. I found the MSI B850M GAMING PLUS WIFI mATX, but I can't find any reviews about it. My budget is £150, and I need to stay with mATX as my case is mATX. Can anyone share their thoughts or experiences with this board? Thanks!

Overall, MSI boards are reliable, especially their mid-tier models. I’ve got a B850 Tomahawk running fine, but I encountered a hiccup with the integrated LAN. It’s not a big deal, just an inconvenience if I unplug the LAN cable while powered. Also, watch out for the Qualcomm WiFi card—it only works with Windows 11. By the way, I've had better luck with Kingston RAM on AM5 builds; it's typically more stable.
The MSI B850M is likely pretty standard compared to other B850s. If there were big issues, I think we'd have heard about them by now, though swapping out the board might not fix your RAM stability issue. Have you done stability tests or updated the BIOS? You might try manually tweaking the RAM settings instead of using EXPO. If that doesn't resolve it, test the new RAM before going for a new motherboard.
That board's a bit pricey for an mATX at around $250. Do you really need WiFi 7 or PCIe 5.0? Those features can bump up the cost. Plus, it helps to know what CPU you're using and how many M.2 slots you'll need. There are plenty of budget options out there if you don’t need those extras.
