Is the MSI RTX 5070 Ti Shadow 3X OC Worth Keeping?

I've recently purchased the MSI RTX 5070 Ti Shadow 3X OC for €799, but I've heard mixed reviews about this model. I'm within Amazon's 30-day return policy, so I'm wondering if it's better to return it and wait for a different 5070 Ti or if this card is good enough. I've also come across some other options: the 5070 Ti Windforce OC V2 for €797, RTX 5070 Ti GamingPro-S for €840, a 9070 XT Sapphire Pure for €720, and a Gigabyte 9070 XT Gaming OC for €675. Just as a reference, my current PC specs are an R5 3600 CPU, a B450 Tomahawk Max motherboard, and I'm getting the MSI MPG A1000GS power supply this week.

I've heard that while the Shadow 3X OC isn't the top-performing 5070 Ti, it's still better than the base clock models. Unless you're planning to upgrade to something like a 5080, you might as well keep it. It's a solid card for the price, especially if you're not into extreme cooling.

Just to point out, isn't the founders edition of the 5070 Ti a non-issue? I thought they skipped that model.

The main downside of the Shadow 3X OC is its cooling performance. If cooling is a big concern for you, it might be worth switching to the Windforce. Otherwise, the Shadow should suit your needs well for most gaming without any major issues.

Do you think the extra €100 for DLSS on the Windforce is worth it?
