Hey folks! I'm upgrading my system to the AM5 platform with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and I'm sticking with my RX 7800 XT. I'm mainly looking to play Escape from Tarkov at 1440p. I've been checking out some DDR5-6000 CL30 memory kits, and here's what I've found in my area:
- Patriot Viper Venom 32 GB (CL30-40-40-76) for about 85€
- G.Skill Flare X5 32 GB (CL30-38-38-96) for around 120€
- Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (CL30-36-36-76) priced at 125€
Given that the Patriot kit is roughly 40€ cheaper, I'm curious if there would be any noticeable performance difference in Tarkov, like average FPS or frame times, between these kits. Is it smart to go for the G.Skill or Corsair, or should I just save the cash and grab the Patriot?

Honestly, the differences in performance would be negligible, especially in gaming. Go for the cheaper option if it fits your budget better!
In general, cheaper RAM kits perform similarly, so you might not notice a difference. The Patriot kit should do the job just fine!
Are you building a complete new PC or just upgrading?
Just so you know, brands like Patriot, Corsair, and G.Skill don't actually manufacture the memory chips themselves. They source them from places like Samsung, Hynix, or Micron. As long as you're getting 6000/CL30, you should be good to go with any of them.
Okay, thanks for the clarification!
I'd say save your money and go with the Patriot. It should perform just as well in most scenarios, especially for gaming. You're already in the sweet spot with that setup!

The 7800 XT is staying, but I'm upgrading from AM4 to AM5, so I'll need a new mainboard, CPU, and RAM.
