Hey everyone! I'm new to buying GPUs. I started with a pre-built PC and have upgraded every part except the GPU, which is still a GTX 1650 Super. I'm considering upgrading to an RTX 3060 (link below), and while I know it would be a big leap, I'm wondering if I should just go for the 40 series instead. Any thoughts?
Here's the link to the RTX 3060: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/asus-nvidia-geforce-rtx-3060-dual-overclock-12gb-gddr6-pci-express-4-0-graphics-card-black/6557544.p?skuId=6557544

That card is a 3060 with 12GB, which is great! But if you're open to buying used, you might want to keep an eye out for a 3080 instead. It packs a lot more punch!
Just a heads up, the card you linked is an RTX 3060, not the 3060 Ti. If you're set on upgrading, make sure you know which version you're looking at!
Does the amount of RAM on a GPU really make that much difference if I have 48GB on my board?
