Is the RTX 3070 a Good Choice for My First Build?

I've just bought a Gigabyte RTX 3070 Eagle Oc 8GB and I'm curious about its performance, especially in comparison to the RX 3060 12GB. I also picked up an AMD Ryzen 5 8400F to go with it. Since this is my first build, I would love any tips or things to watch out for as I start putting it together. Thanks!

The RTX 3070 is a solid choice! You shouldn't have any issues unless you're trying to run the latest games at ultra settings. The only downside is that it has 8GB of VRAM, which is fine for now but could become a concern in the future depending on the games you play. Overall, you should be good to go!

I upgraded from an RX 570 to the 3060, and let me tell you, the difference was huge! I was a bit hesitant at first, thinking I'd regret my choice since the 3060 is a lower-end card in reviews, but honestly, it's been great for my needs. Don’t stress too much about it – go build and enjoy your new setup!
