Is the RTX 5060 a Good Buy for $250?

I'm currently using an RX 6600 and came across a deal for a new RTX 5060 priced at $250. I'm wondering if I should wait for Black Friday deals to find a better GPU in this price range or if this is the best option I have right now. I'm primarily gaming at 1080p, and while I'm aware it's not the top choice for ray tracing, I'd like to give that a try when upgrading.

Actually, I'd suggest looking at a B580 instead. It offers better VRAM and great performance overall.

I see your point, the B580 sounds promising because of its VRAM. The RTX 5060 does perform well, but with new games demanding more memory, it could struggle. If I can stretch my budget, maybe a 5060 Ti or a 9060 XT with 16GB could be worth it for more longevity.

If you plan to use Blender or do any video editing, you might prefer the RTX 5060. Otherwise, for pure gaming, a 9060 XT is the way to go if you can get your hands on one.

I think it's a decent buy considering the MSRP, but I'd wait since the stock may be limited. If you're not set on Nvidia features, the 8GB 9060 XT might be a better option.

Yeah, I noticed there are only three left for that price. Money is tight for me, though.

At that price, the RTX 5060 is fine, but if you're just gaming, consider the 9060 XT if you can find it—it usually performs better.
