I recently built a new PC with a Ryzen 7 9700X and 32GB DDR5 RAM running at 6000MHz. Right now, I'm using my old graphics card, a GTX 1070 Ti, and I'm looking to upgrade to something that pairs well with my CPU while minimizing bottlenecking. I'm considering the RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB of VRAM but I'm unsure if that's the best option or if I should be looking at the 5070 instead.

The 5060 Ti 16GB should work well for 1440p gaming without a hitch. Have you thought about the AMD 9070? It outperforms the 5070 and also comes with 16GB of VRAM, which might be a better deal depending on pricing in your area.
The 5060 Ti is great, but it really depends on your gaming style. If you play at higher settings and resolutions, the 5070 offers about a 30% performance boost. So if your budget allows, it might be worth considering for the extra power you’ll get.
What games are you planning to play and at what resolution? If the 5070 or 5070 Ti feels too steep for your budget, it might not be worth the jump unless you really need that extra performance. Just something to think about!
Yes, the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is a solid pairing with the Ryzen 7 9700X! You should be able to enjoy quite a few games without any significant bottlenecking. How much more is the 5070?

I see what you're saying! I generally play at 1440p and love rich graphics. The only hitch is that the 5070 has only 12GB of VRAM, while the 5060 Ti has 16GB. Why didn't Nvidia just make them all 16GB? It's frustrating. The 5070 Ti has 16GB but costs so much more.
