I'm looking to buy a new graphics card for my PC, and my budget is between $600 and $800. I've been considering the RTX 5070 12GB, especially since I'm only interested in buying new or heavily refurbished cards. My current setup includes a Ryzen 5 5600G, 24GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 650W 80+ Bronze Seasonic power supply. I'm a bit concerned about whether the CPU might bottleneck my performance. Should I go for the RTX 5070, or would it not be worth it?

Do you have three RAM modules? If so, I'd recommend fixing that. It's generally best to use matched pairs for optimal performance.
I've been really pleased with my RTX 5070! I use it at 1440p and even 4K, and it does a great job—my performance is smooth, and I hardly notice any bottlenecks. I paired mine with an i5 12600k and a 750W PSU. For the price, around $500, it exceeded my expectations, plus I got a free copy of Arc Raiders with it!
Why not? At that price point, you might even find a 5070 Ti if you look around a bit. It could give you a nice performance bump without breaking the bank!
What resolution are you planning to use? That can definitely affect whether the RTX 5070 is the right choice for you!
I'll mainly be gaming at 2560x1440 with a 100Hz refresh rate.
The RTX 5070 is a solid GPU, but keep in mind that if you can find an AM4 X3D CPU, it could help avoid performance bottlenecks. When I was using an AM4 setup, I tried both the 5070 and 5070 Ti with a 5600X, and there were noticeable stutters at 1440p due to the bottleneck. Just something to consider!

I do use three sticks because I need more RAM capacity, but I get your point. Buying another during RAM prices is rough right now.
