I'm considering getting an RTX 5070 and I'm curious if it's sufficient for playing demanding games like Bodycam, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Cyberpunk 2077 on high to ultra graphics settings at 1440p. Will it handle these games well?

I have a 5070 Ti and it's barely enough for Cyberpunk at 1440p with path tracing. Not sure how the 5070 would do.

Not everyone uses path tracing, though. I haven't used ray tracing in ages on PC or on my PS5.

From my experience, the 5070 can definitely handle those games. I have three 1440p monitors connected to mine, and I max out all settings, even path tracing in Cyberpunk 2077, without any issues. Just a heads up though, I did push the 12GB VRAM limit a few times while streaming on Discord, so if you have a bigger budget, the 5070 Ti or 9070 XT might be better choices for extra comfort.

Yep, it's good!

I own a 4070 Super and can run Cyberpunk at max settings with DLSS and ray tracing on, usually averaging around 90 fps. The RTX 5070 should perform similarly, but if you want a buffer, the 5070 Ti might be a safer bet.

Absolutely, the RTX 5070 should work fine. That said, I'd suggest considering the 5070 Ti or 9070 XT instead. You get 16GB VRAM with those, which could be more future-proof for demanding games.

I think you should really consider getting the 5070 Ti or 9070 XT for better performance.

Definitely! The 5070 easily runs 500+ games at 1440p and even 4K without issues. The VRAM concern is often exaggerated. Check out this benchmark video; it's surprising how little VRAM is used at 1440p. [Benchmark Video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MeBcbo-01A)
