Is the RTX 5070 Ti 16GB a good match for the Ryzen 7 5700X3D?

Hey everyone! I'm considering switching from my Intel ARC B580 12GB to an RTX 5070 Ti 16GB and I'm curious if that would be a solid choice. My experience with the Intel card has been frustrating with lots of issues, so I want something more reliable and suitable for the future. I primarily play FPS games, aiming for low settings and high FPS, but I also enjoy other titles like Clair Obscur Expedition 33. Good FPS with decent graphics is important to me, and I game at 2K 280Hz. I'm not looking to upgrade to AM5 just yet, so I'm hoping to get insights from anyone who's tried this combination and how well it performs for someone like me who doesn't necessarily need top-tier graphics at 4K.

I’m not an expert, but I thought I’d chime in! I had the option between an RX 9070 or an RTX 5070 (which was about $50 more). In your situation, you might want to consider the RX 9070 XT; if you have funds left over, you could invest in a better CPU. Personally, I mainly stick to FPS games, but I can run RDR2 at high/ultra settings and get over 200 FPS with a 9070 and a Ryzen 7 7800X3D. CS:GO easily hits 240+ and Fortnite is around 200 FPS too. Just a thought to help with your decision!

Thanks for the input! I’m curious though, how’s the driver situation for AMD? My friend with a Radeon RX 7800 XT had a lot of issues with the setup, so that’s a concern for me.
