I'm considering purchasing an RX 6600 XT for $200. Is this a solid deal? Also, how does it compare to the RTX 3060 8GB? I've heard mixed opinions, with some suggesting the RX 6600 XT is a good card, but I'd like to gather more viewpoints. This will be my first dedicated GPU since I've been using integrated graphics. Thanks for any advice!

I got the RX 6600 XT for around 200 CAD and think it’s a pretty solid card, but similar to others, I feel like it's overpriced at $200. Depending on where you live, you'd probably find a better option nearby. Still, for 1080p gaming, it should serve you well for most modern titles.
I recently picked up a 6800 XT for only $180, which shows that the RX 6600 XT shouldn’t really cost you $200. It’s a capable card for 1080p gaming, but I’m not sure I’d say it’s worth it at that price. Maybe hold out for a better deal or check if you can find something like the 6700 XT instead.
The RX 6600 XT generally outperforms the RTX 3060 8GB, so in that respect, it’s a better choice. However, I'm hesitant about paying $200 for it—it might be a bit steep. If you're going to spend that much, you could look for a 6700 XT instead, which would give you more bang for your buck.
