Hey everyone, I'm having a bit of a problem with my iPhone 13. I got it not too long ago, and while it's generally been great, I noticed it gets really hot when I charge it. Not just hot, but I actually get a message saying charging will resume when it's cooler. I've reached out to the store about warranty concerns, but I've yet to hear back. Apple mentioned I could explore options since I can't find an Apple Store in my country. Has anyone faced this before? Is it worth it to send my phone all the way to the US for an inspection? Any thoughts or experiences would be super helpful!

It sounds like your battery health might be pretty low, likely in the 70s or even worse. The iPhone 13s have been around for a bit now, and batteries do wear out over time. If you didn't opt for AppleCare, your warranty might be up. You could either get a new phone or take it to a certified service center for a battery replacement.

I bought mine brand new too, and my battery health dropped to 85% in under a year! When I switched to the iPhone 17, I really noticed the heating issue with the 13 was way worse. I've got proof that I dealt with these problems for a long time.
