I'm planning to upgrade my PC and would appreciate some advice. Currently, I have an Intel i5-7400 CPU, an H110 motherboard, and 16GB of DDR4 RAM (though it limits to 2400MHz usage) paired with an AMD RX 580 2048SP 8GB. For my upgrade, I'm considering getting a Ryzen 5 5600 CPU, a B550M Pro VDH motherboard, and sticking with my current RAM while attempting to overclock. The GPU I'm looking at is the RX 9060 XT with 16GB. I've heard mixed opinions on it and initially considered alternatives like the RTX 3060 Ti, RX 6700 XT, or RX 7700 XT (12GB), but my budget for the GPU is around $300 USD. What would you recommend?

The RX 9060 XT is definitely a solid choice and arguably better than the other GPUs you mentioned. It's great for 1440p gaming with minimal compromises, so you should see a good performance boost with your new setup!
As long as your power supply can handle it, your upgrade plan sounds really good. The 9060 XT should perform well without bottlenecking, especially with your new CPU, even in 1080p max settings.
Yes, it's a good card, but just keep in mind that it might be closer to $400 than $300. In terms of performance, it surpasses other options you've considered, so it could be worth the extra investment.
That’s true! If they release an updated version with FSR 4 Lite, it might compete, but for now, the 9060 XT is a go.

I agree, it's probably the best value GPU available right now!
