Is the RX 9060 XT 16GB Too Much for 1080p Gaming?

I'm looking to upgrade my PC soon and am considering the RX 9060 XT 16GB GPU. Since I don't really prioritize AAA games or ultra settings, and I'm using a 1080p monitor, I'm wondering if this GPU would be overkill for my needs. Should I consider something like the Arc B580 12GB instead?

If you're looking to save some cash, the Arc B580 is a decent option, but it doesn't mean the 9060 XT is overkill. It's a great card for the performance you get.

Not at all! The RX 9060 XT is a solid choice for 1080p gaming, even if you're not into the latest AAA titles. Just make sure it fits your overall setup. By the way, what system are you upgrading from?

I really don't think the 9060 XT is overkill. It's efficient for its power and size. You might want to stick with your AM4 setup until RAM prices drop. The 5800X3D is a fantastic deal and will pair well with it. I just got the 9060 XT Pulse OC for about $400, and it's been a game changer for me!
