I'm thinking about putting together a budget build with a Ryzen 5 5600 paired with a 3060 Ti. I'm mainly looking to game at 1080p and I'm curious if this combo will result in any bottlenecking issues. Also, would this setup be a good value based on what's available in the used market?

As long as you're not pushing anything crazily demanding like a 5070 Ti or certain CPU-intensive games, the 5600 will definitely serve you well. Perfect for what you're looking to do!
This combo should work well for you! While the performance can vary depending on the game, especially at different settings, overall, I think you'll be fine for 1080p gaming. Just keep in mind that older titles might perform better than newer, more demanding ones. Budget-wise, snagging that GPU used is a solid deal since it’s from a previous generation.
I have a similar setup with a 5700x and a RTX 5060 Ti, and I haven’t experienced any bottlenecking issues at all. Yours should be just fine too!
Totally a balanced setup! You might hit some CPU bottlenecks in more demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077, especially in scenes with a lot going on, but overall, it shouldn't be a big issue. The performance will likely still be smooth for most games you throw at it.
Yeah, and even with those bottlenecks, it should run nicely enough for your needs!
I set my dad up with the same parts, and it runs like a charm for 1080p. You shouldn't have any problems with this combination!

Exactly! It's all about finding it at the right price. If it's in good condition and affordable, go for it!
