Hey everyone! I'm looking to buy a new gaming PC within the next month specifically for playing games at 1440p resolution. I've done a lot of research, but I need some advice about the components. First, do you think the AMD Ryzen 5 9600X will suffice for gaming, or would it be smarter to invest in the 7800X3D instead? Also, I'm torn between the graphics cards: the 9070XT and the 5070TI. I've heard different opinions on how they perform for 1440p gaming, so I wanted to see if anyone has insights on which one is better for that resolution. Just a heads up, I plan to stick with this new system for at least 4-5 years without any upgrades!

At 1440p, the 9600X won't bottleneck you in most AAA games, so you're good either way. The 7800X3D is nice but may be overkill for what you need. Definitely lean towards the 5070TI for better overall performance.
Definitely go for the 7800X3D if you can swing it, but the 9600X will work just fine too if you're looking to save money. As for the graphics cards, the 9070XT is a great deal, often available for around $650, but if you find the 5070TI at MSRP, it's worth it, especially with DLSS and ray tracing. Your choice really depends on whether you’ll be using those features or not!
For most games, the 9600X will work great, probably for 99% of them. If you value performance, consider if you can get the 5070TI for just a bit more than the 9070XT; around $640 vs $600 would make the 5070TI the better option.
