I'm considering upgrading my PC and came across a Ryzen 7 5700X for $160. Currently, I have a Ryzen 5 2600X and plan to upgrade to a system with a 9060 and 16GB of RAM soon. I'm not in the US, but I want a mobo with a decent audio codec. AM5 motherboards are pretty pricey, and I also found a Ryzen 5 7400F for a similar price. My main use for the PC will be gaming, and I'm not too concerned about playing at 1440p. I just want something that can last like my current build has, as I've been using my 1660 Ti since 2019. So, is the 5700X worth the price? I have some time to decide since I'm not in a rush.

I think the 5700X is a solid choice, especially with the AM4 platform. It's a great upgrade, and you'll likely see a nice performance boost over your 2600X!
I actually started with a 5600G and upgraded to a 5800X. The 5700X is a decent step, and with a good GPU, you'll be set for a couple more years.
