I'm looking to upgrade from my 8GB RTX 3050 and I have around 350 euros to spend. The RTX 5060 and 4060 are priced the same, but I'm also open to getting an AMD card. I'm leaning toward the 5060 because of its DLSS 4 support, but I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I've been using a 5700X with a 4070 for a while, and it runs great. Just make sure to keep your GPU budget around what you’re comfortable with—what's your maximum spend again?
If you're gaming at 1440p, you should be fine without your CPU holding back performance. Either the RTX 5060 or RX 9060XT is a good pick, just make sure to get the 16GB version if you can.
I mainly play at 1080p.
The Ryzen 7 5700X is still a solid CPU for what you're looking at. If you can, opt for a 5060Ti with 16GB or the 9060XT for best performance without bottlenecking.
Honestly, you might want to steer clear of both the 4060 and 5060. They have pretty slow core performance and only come with 8GB of VRAM. Instead, consider the RX 9060XT with 16GB, which falls into your budget (around 360-400 euros) and offers much better value.
But if I'm playing at 1080p, isn't 8GB enough?
Seriously, skip the 5060. It's not worth it. Just focus on finding the best GPU for your budget.
What's wrong with the 5060?
Check out eBay for a used 3080 around 350 or even a 6700XT for about 250. They’d be a significant upgrade from your 3050.
But are they really a good upgrade from my 3050?
Why settle for less just because of your CPU? Focus on getting the best GPU you can afford!
Which one should I go for if I max out at 400?
I can go up to 350.
