Hey everyone! I just picked up a 5070Ti at a great price since I'm worried GPUs will skyrocket later. I'm currently running an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 4x8GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, and I've noticed the CPU is holding back my new GPU. Upgrading to AM5 is out of the question for me right now due to the high costs of DDR5 RAM and the insane prices for AM4 X3D CPUs.
I've found a Ryzen 7 5700X for around 140 euros and I'm wondering if that's a worthwhile upgrade to match with my 5070Ti. Do you think it'll help with performance while I wait for more reasonable prices for future upgrades? I have a 180Hz 1440p monitor and sometimes play on a 4K TV, mainly online shooters and RPGs like Arc Raiders and Baldur's Gate 3. Thanks for your help and happy holidays!

Definitely look for the 5700X. You'll feel the uplift in gaming and productivity, and it keeps you from paying those ridiculous prices for the X3D models. Just be patient for the next big upgrade!
Skip the X3D chips; their prices are crazy right now! The 5700X or 5800X are great picks. Even with your current setup, you'll handle 1080p and 1440p gaming pretty well, possibly hitting 70+ fps in many games!
You might also consider the 5800X or even 5800XT if you can find them cheap. They're both solid options and might give you a bit more performance without costing a fortune.

Exactly! Plus, it should balance nicely with your new GPU for your gaming setup.
