Hey everyone! I'm putting together my first PC build and would love your input on a few key points. I'm aiming to play Rust at 1080p with around 144 FPS, plus I want to use it for music production and editing longer videos. My setup includes a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and an RTX 3060 with 12 GB. I also want to check the compatibility of the MSI B650 GAMING PLUS WIFI motherboard with my CPU, GPU, and PSU. Is this build good to go or does anything need changing before I start buying the parts? Oh, and is a 650 W power supply sufficient? I've already picked up 32 GB of RAM. Appreciate any help you can give!

Honestly, I'd suggest putting a bit less into the CPU and more into the GPU. While the 7800X3D is a beast, the RTX 3060 could hold you back if you're looking for high graphics at 144 FPS.

I wouldn’t worry too much about the CPU-GPU balance. If you’re playing Rust, which is pretty CPU-intensive, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is a fantastic choice. It’ll really help with your FPS at 1080p. Focus on that CPU for your needs!

Thanks for the reassurance! That's good to know.

I think your build is pretty unbalanced as well. The RTX 3060 won't be able to keep up in more demanding games, especially if you want to push those frame rates.
