Is the Samsung ATNA60FV01 a Safe Replacement for the ATNA60FV02 Screen?

I bought a broken laptop from a friend under the impression that I could easily fix it, but the screen, a Samsung ATNA60FV02, is proving to be quite the challenge. The direct replacements are way too pricey for my budget. The only affordable option I've found is the ATNA60FV01, which is from the same product family and supposedly has similar specs. However, I'm hesitant to make the switch without confirming compatibility. I've been searching for a pinout or datasheet for the ATNA60FV02 to compare it with the ATNA60FV01, but no luck so far. I really want to avoid a costly mistake since returns would hit my wallet hard. If you were in my shoes, how would you ensure the new screen would work before buying? Also, if anyone knows how to confirm the electrical specifications of the ATNA60FV02 without the datasheet, I'd love your insights! For context, my laptop model is HP Pavilion 16 AF0003CA, and the original panel is HW002 of the ATNA60FV02.

I wouldn’t risk switching models if I were you. It's safer to match the exact part number when dealing with screens. There could be differences in connector types or resolution that you might not find out until it’s too late. It might be worth checking online retailers that specialize in laptop parts; sometimes they have better prices than what you might find on general sites!

Thanks for the advice! I’ve been checking around, but it’s tough to find anyone with the exact match. I’ll keep looking!
