I'm considering upgrading my graphics card from a 3060 Ti to a 5070 Ti. I've heard that this jump is significant and that going two generations up is often recommended. How much of a performance boost can I expect with this upgrade?

Absolutely, that’s a big jump! The 5070 Ti is an excellent card and offers amazing price-to-performance for the current generation of NVIDIA GPUs. You'll definitely notice a significant performance increase moving to it—much smoother gameplay overall!
I upgraded from a 2070 Super to the 5070 Ti, and it's a game-changer! I can run an ultrawide OLED display at 3440x1440 without any hiccups. It handles 4K with max settings depending on the title. Plus, if you want to overclock, there's plenty of room for that too!
I've got an OLED 1440p display too—sounds perfect for me! The 3060 Ti has been struggling lately. I'm excited for the upgrade!
I'm planning to make a similar jump. Looking forward to gaming at 1440 or ultrawide!
I made the switch from a 3060 Ti to a 5070 Ti running at 1440p, and I can honestly say it changed my gaming experience! I no longer worry about performance settings. The 5070 Ti roughly doubles the performance compared to the 3060 Ti!
That's great to hear! I've been stressing over whether my GPU can handle new games. I'm sick of asking myself that every time!
I’ve only had a laptop with a GTX 1650, but after building my PC with a 5070 Ti, it’s such a relief to not worry about performance anymore.
The performance boost is tremendous! I was using a 3070, and the upgrade to the 5070 Ti made everything feel smooth and polished. You're going to love gaming with it; it’s totally worth it.
What resolution are you gaming at? I'm on a 3070 and it's starting to show its age.
Sounds promising! I’m currently running a 3070 and trying to hit 1440p with 120Hz, but it's struggling.
Most folks agree that while the 5070 is great for the price, the 5070 Ti is even better—if you can swing it!
