Is the XPG Core Reactor II VE 750W a Reliable Power Supply?

Hey everyone, I've been considering the XPG Core Reactor II VE 750W PSU for my new build. Lately, I've noticed some reports of issues with this version, so I'm a bit hesitant to buy it. Do you think it's still a good choice, or should I look for alternatives in the same price range? I've seen models like the Montech Century II available at a similar price where I live. Just for context, my build includes a Ryzen 7 5700X, an RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB RAM, a 1TB SSD, and about 9 fans.

The non-VE version of the XPG is a bit better, but I wouldn't say the VE is bad. Actually, it has slightly better quality ratings compared to the Montech unit. Just keep in mind, the Montech has a longer warranty—10 years compared to 7 for XPG. Some of the negative reviews might just be due to sales biases rather than real quality issues. Also, the XPG is manufactured by CWT, which supplies many units for Corsair.

Thanks for the insights, that clears up a lot about the VE version. I’ll go with this PSU.
