Is There a Big Difference Between 200Hz and 240Hz Screens?

I'm trying to decide between two monitors: the AOC 24G11ZE, which offers 240Hz but has some iffy reviews about its build quality, and the MSI MAG 244F, which I believe has better overall quality. Both monitors are priced similarly. Is the jump from 200Hz to 240Hz really noticeable in real gaming situations, or is it just a minor difference?

Over 144Hz, the benefits become less noticeable. At 200Hz, each frame has about 5ms of screen time, while at 240Hz, it's just 4.1ms. But there are plenty of other factors to consider too, so don't base your decision solely on that.

I have a 240Hz monitor and I honestly can't tell a huge difference. In casual FPS games like Battlefield, I only notice slight lag if the FPS dips below 170-180. It really varies with the type of games; in single-player, I definitely don't feel much difference between 144 and 240 FPS. It's nice to have the option for a higher refresh rate though!

Really? I thought Battlefield made a bigger difference because of how smooth the battlefield graphics look!

To some, even the jump from 144Hz to 240Hz might not be noticeable at all. However, the right panel can lead to improved latency and reduced input lag, which is definitely a plus. Just keep that in mind!
