Is there a faster way to run sfc /scannow?

Hey everyone! I've been having some serious issues with my laptop after it started corrupting files, and it's not booting up properly. A family friend who works in tech support suggested I run "sfc /scannow" multiple times, but after cycling through it about 50 times over the past two days, nothing seems to change. I'm totally fine with wiping the laptop since most of my important stuff is backed up on OneDrive, but when I try to reset, I keep getting the message "an error occurred and no changes were made." I've also attempted system restore and CHKDSK to address the write protection on my disk, but no luck there either. Is there a quicker method to resolve this without having to spend endless hours rebooting? My laptop is a Dell from 2020, and I can check the model if needed. Thanks in advance for your help!

I think you might be better off using a USB drive to reinstall Windows instead of relying on sfc /scannow. Here’s a guide that walks you through the process of reinstalling Windows using a USB: https://rtech.support/windows/. It might feel like a big step, but considering the trouble you've had, it could save you a lot of headaches down the road.

Yeah, that does sound like a straightforward solution! Sometimes just reinstalling can clear up issues you might not even be aware of.
