I'm not super tech-savvy, but I'm facing a dilemma. My laptop is on its last legs—broken hinge, a wobbly bottom that's exposing some components, and one USB port that's fried. I usually keep my laptop at home since I don't like working outside, which makes having a portable device not very useful for me. I live abroad, so building a PC and then having to deal with selling or dismantling it when I return home feels like a hassle. I'm looking for advice on products that could fit my needs as an alternative to either a laptop or a full desktop PC. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

If your laptop is pretty much your main device, you might just need a monitor, a keyboard, and a mouse. This way, you can use your laptop like a desktop without having to invest in a whole new system. Alternatively, look for a Small Form Factor (SFF) setup; they’re compact and can be a good balance for home use.
Have you considered an all-in-one PC? They’re compact since all the components are built into the monitor. It's less messy than a traditional setup and saves space. Just be cautious, though, some recommend against it because of potential performance limitations.

I have no idea what an all-in-one PC is, but I'll definitely look it up. I'm assuming it's different from a traditional PC? What I mainly do is some light drawing, gaming, and quick video editing; nothing too demanding.
