I'm looking for a user-friendly tool that can clone my internal SSD to an external destination on Ubuntu 24.04. I want to be able to easily restore the cloned SSD when needed. I've tried Timeshift and Piku-Backup, but they aren't quite what I'm looking for. Any suggestions?

If you're comfortable with command-line tools, you could use 'dd'. It's very powerful for cloning drives, but it requires some knowledge to use safely.
Have you checked out Clonezilla? It's a standalone distro that you can boot from a USB stick. Just a heads up, it can feel a bit clunky to use, but it’s effective for cloning.
