Hey everyone! I recently checked out a video by James Lee about his transition to Linux, where he mentioned using Affinity Photo and DaVinci Resolve. I tried installing these programs on Linux Mint but had no luck, and now that I've moved to Arch, I'm facing the same issue. Is there any way to successfully get these running on Linux, or am I just not understanding something? By the way, my setup is a full AMD PC.

Check out the Arch Wiki for DaVinci Resolve; it has some great resources. Also, for Affinity Photo, there’s a discussion on their forum about running it on Linux with Bottles. Good luck!
You might want to try using Wine, which is a compatibility layer that can help run Windows programs on Linux.
I've tried that too, but haven't had any luck getting it to run.

But don't forget, DaVinci Resolve actually has native support for Linux.
