Is there a way to connect a Bluetooth device to a non-Bluetooth PC without buying an adapter?

I have a PS3 controller that I'd love to use wirelessly, but my PC doesn't have Bluetooth capabilities. I know the simplest solution would be to buy a Bluetooth dongle or adapter, but that's not an option for me right now. I'm looking for any creative ways to connect my controller—like using Wi-Fi or my phone as a bridge—or any other tricks you might have in mind.

Have you double-checked if your PC actually has built-in Bluetooth? A lot of computers have had it for over a decade now, so it’s worth taking a look again!

I did check, but the Bluetooth finder says I don't have support for it.

Honestly, it sounds like you’re stuck. There's really no way to bypass the lack of Bluetooth entirely. The only way to connect your PS3 controller wirelessly is by getting a Bluetooth dongle. You can’t use your phone or Wi-Fi for this, so your best bet is to save up for the dongle or just use a wired connection for now.

Yeah, it sucks to hear, but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet. At least wired connections work well!

You might want to check Amazon for something like a "TP-Link USB Bluetooth dongle." They’re usually pretty affordable and can solve your problem easily.
