My laptop's keyboard is giving me trouble since none of the keys are functional, including the power button. I shut down my Windows 11 PC in hopes of fixing it, but now I can't turn it back on. I do have a wired keyboard, but it doesn't have a power key. Is there any way to start my laptop without using the power button? If not, would an external keyboard with a power button work? By the way, my laptop model is the Surface Laptop 7 in Dune color.

Unfortunately, it sounds like your options are pretty limited. If you have the wake-on-LAN feature enabled in your BIOS, you could potentially send a magic packet from another device on your network to wake it up. Another long shot is removing the battery and then reconnecting it, but that really depends on your model. Honestly though, I recommend just investing in a new keyboard, especially since it could be an easy fix. Good luck!
Here are a few things you can try:
1. Just plug in the charger; it sometimes works.
2. Try plugging the charger into the USB-C port—sounds odd, but it might help!
3. Look for keyboards that have a built-in power button; those could be very handy.

Any suggestions for good keyboards with a power button that I can grab from Amazon?
