Is There a Way to Recover Data from a Completely Dead Phone?

My phone suddenly shut down and won't turn back on at all. I've tried everything possible, but it's showing zero signs of life. It doesn't seem to have any prior issues either, so I'm guessing the motherboard might have failed early. I just bought a new phone of the same brand, but unfortunately, I didn't back up any of my recent pictures, videos, or audio files. I can't transfer them through an app since the old phone won't power on, and when I plug it into a computer, it isn't recognized. Are there any ways to recover my data besides repairing the phone?

One option might be to open up the phone and try to access the storage directly. However, keep in mind that it's often not as straightforward as taking out an SSD from a computer, as phone components can be quite tricky to deal with. If you're feeling adventurous, it might be worth a shot!

I like the idea, but I wouldn't trust myself with that. From what I've seen, newer phones are really hard to take apart without damaging something. I'd prefer to keep it intact to trade in later since it's basically new otherwise. I think I'll just get it repaired and hope it’s not too expensive.

Unfortunately, if the phone won't power on at all, your options are pretty limited. The chances of getting your data back drop significantly without any functionality.
