My mom has locked herself out of her iPhone because she forgot the passcode, and unfortunately, she doesn't have a computer to back it up. Is there any way to reset her iPhone without erasing all her data?

Just in case you’re considering other options, there are services out there that claim to help unlock phones, but be cautious! Make sure to do your research before trusting them—there are lots of scams out there!
Unfortunately, if the phone is locked and she hasn’t been backing it up, there's not much that can be done to recover the data. You can check out Apple's official support pages for more options, but the chances are slim since she doesn't have a backup.
Honestly, without the passcode, getting access to the phone again is tough. Resetting to factory settings would erase everything. She can only recover her data if there’s a recent iCloud backup, so it’s worth checking that out if she hasn’t already.
I had a similar problem in the past. If everything she needs is on iCloud and regularly backed up, that’s her best bet. Otherwise, she's likely going to need to connect it to a computer to reset, which means losing the data if there’s no recent backup.

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll definitely be careful with those kinds of services.
