I've recently made the switch to Linux, specifically Zorin, and I'm looking for something similar to the Control Panel in Windows. Is there an inbuilt control panel in Zorin or any other distro? Also, how can I manage settings like power plans or uninstall applications, which I used to do easily in Windows?

If you're using Zorin, look for an app called "Settings" that should come pre-installed. It helps with most common tasks like adjusting settings and managing software. There's also usually an app called "Software" to help with installing or uninstalling programs.

In OpenSUSE, there's YaST, which used to be pretty comprehensive, but just a heads-up, it's being deprecated. So it might not be the best long-term solution depending on your distribution.

You can find a lot of useful info at the Zorin help page: https://help.zorin.com/. It covers various settings and how to manage applications. Could be a good starting point!

It really depends on the desktop environment you're using. For instance, if you're on KDE Plasma, you can use 'System Settings' to tweak various options. Just let us know what specific settings you're interested in, and we can help you find the right way to adjust them!

Yeah, I'm using KDE Plasma too, and the System Settings makes it pretty easy to navigate through different settings!
