I've been saving up for a gaming PC that costs around 1300 euros, and I want to get some advice on its performance and pricing. Here's what I'm looking at:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X for 189€
- CPU Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE
- Motherboard: MSI B650 Gaming Plus Wifi
- RAM: G.Skill Flare X5, 32GB
- SSD: Crucial P3 Plus, 1TB NVME
- GPU: XFX Swift Radeon RX 9070XT
- Case: Lian Li LANCOOL 216 RGB
- Power Supply: MSI Mag A650BN
If you think there are any changes I should consider, I'd love to hear your feedback!

You might want to upgrade that power supply to at least a 750W Gold unit. It'll give you some headroom for the GPU, which pulls about 300W on its own.
Everything looks pretty solid! But if you're trying to stick to that 1300 budget, consider swapping the case for a more affordable one. That way, you can fit a more powerful PSU without breaking the bank. You could also consider the 5070 GPU if you're worried about power consumption, but it does have less VRAM.
Depending on your location, you might want to think about downgrading to the RX 9070 instead. They're pretty close in performance, and you could use the savings for a better PSU and maybe bump your SSD storage from 1TB to 2TB.
I wanted to do that, but the RX 9070XT is only 10 euros more for me, so it seems worth it not to downgrade.
Just a heads up, the Crucial P3 Plus uses QLC flash, which isn't as durable and can slow down over time. It might be worth looking into a better drive with TLC flash, like the Kioxia Exceria Plus G3 or WD Blue SN5000.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll replace it right away.
Thanks, I'll definitely look into that!
