Is This a Good Choice for My First PC Build?

I'm planning to buy my first PC soon, but I'm not very experienced with computer hardware and would appreciate some guidance. I've put together a parts list and would like to know whether the components are compatible and well balanced. Are there any parts you would recommend changing, such as the cooler, memory, storage, or anything else?

For the operating-system drive, an NVMe SSD with a DRAM cache can be worthwhile because it handles the frequent small reads and writes that happen constantly in the background. Whether it’s worth stretching the budget depends on local prices, but I’d prioritize that feature even if it means choosing a slightly slower drive.

The build looks generally well balanced, and the CPU, graphics card, motherboard, and power supply all seem like solid choices. If your budget allows, consider upgrading to a 2TB SSD since modern games can fill a 1TB drive surprisingly quickly. It’s also worth comparing memory prices from a few reputable brands before buying, since RAM pricing can vary a lot.

Thanks a lot! I’ll compare a few memory options and look into getting a larger SSD.

I’d look at a Thermalright cooler and choose a memory brand with a clear, usable warranty. Those changes may give you better value and peace of mind without changing the overall build.

Do you have any specific memory brands you’d recommend?
