I'm planning to build my own PC instead of buying a prebuilt one, thinking it might save me some money and give me control over the parts. I'm mainly going to be using it for CapCut to edit 1080p videos. Here are the specifications I've chosen:
1. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G 6-Core 12-Thread Desktop Processor with Radeon Graphics
2. RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3200MHz
3. Storage: Crucial P3 500GB 3D NAND NVMe Internal SSD
4. Case: NZXT H5 Flow Compact ATX Mid-Tower PC Gaming Case
5. Power Supply: EVGA 600 W1, 80+ WHITE 600W Power Supply
6. Motherboard: MSI B550-A PRO ATX Motherboard
This build costs around $600. Do you think it's a good setup for the price? Will it perform well for video editing?

This build looks pretty solid, especially if you're working with a tight budget. If you can't afford a dedicated GPU right now, this should still handle 1080p video editing quite well. I'd suggest considering upgrading to 32GB of RAM (2 x 16GB) if you can swing it, as video editing can be memory-intensive, and that extra RAM would give you more flexibility for effects and layers. But overall, this setup should do the job!
I appreciate the feedback! I was thinking of starting with this setup and possibly adding more RAM and a dedicated GPU later on. Does that sound feasible?
