I found a screw in my secondary SSD slot while trying to install an SSD, and I'm not sure if it's a standoff screw or if it comes apart. I attempted to remove the top part but it feels stuck. Here's a link to the image I took: https://imgur.com/a/LJJDDaa. Any insights would be appreciated!

Classic! That's what SHE said!
That screw looks like it wasn’t meant to come off. Usually, standoff screws are fixed in place to support components like SSDs. If it helps, I found a larger standoff screw that came with the motherboard, which might give you an idea of what you're dealing with: https://imgur.com/a/BamRQjy.
I can't say for sure, but it seems like that screw could be stripped. This type of standoff screw can sometimes have a weird appearance from certain angles. I can't take better pictures of mine since it's already in the motherboard. However, here's a link to a larger version of it that came with my mobo for reference: https://imgur.com/a/BamRQjy. It might just be a unique standoff MSI uses.
