I'm putting together a PC build and want to make sure it's solid for 1440p gaming. Here's what I've got lined up:

- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 (3.8 GHz, 6-Core)
- **CPU Cooler**: Thermalright Assassin King SE ARGB
- **Motherboard**: Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX ICE ATX AM5
- **Memory**: TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB (16 GB, 2 x 8 GB, DDR5-6000)
- **Storage**: Patriot Viper VP4300 Lite (2 TB, M.2-2280, PCIe 4.0)
- **Video Card**: Gigabyte EAGLE OC SFF GeForce RTX 5070 (12 GB)
- **Case**: HYTE Y40 ATX Mid Tower
- **Power Supply**: SAMA GT 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular
- **Case Fan**: Thermalright TL-C12CW-S (3-Pack)
- **Speakers**: Creative Labs Pebble 2.0

The total comes to about $1825.31 AUD. What do you think? Is this a good setup? Thanks!

Your build looks great overall! I’d recommend looking for a more reliable power supply like one from Seasonic or Superflower, and maybe bumping it up to 750W just for peace of mind.

Pretty solid for 1440p! For reference, I had a Ryzen 5600X with an RTX 3060, and I was getting over 240 fps in Rainbow Six Siege at 1440p. In Elden Ring, I got 55-60 fps on high settings without ray tracing, which was pretty good.

This setup is definitely overkill for 1440p. If you’ve got the budget, why not go for it? Just saying, if you wanna share some of that budget with me, I'd gladly take it!

Do you think it could handle some 4K gaming with this setup? I wasn't sure if it was overkill since there's only 16GB of RAM.
