I'm currently using an RX 9070 XT 16GB, but I've noticed that my CPU, which is an i7-9700F, is bottlenecking my performance. Although it might not be the best time to upgrade, I've come across a bundle deal for an i5-14600K, an MSI B760 Pro motherboard (DDR4), and two 8GB DDR4-3600 RAM sticks for around $400. Do you think this is a good deal? Are there better options I should look into? Should I stick with LGA1700 for the newer Intel generations or should I consider switching to AMD and an AM4 platform instead?

Considering the current market, that i5-14600K deal sounds like a pretty solid choice! It should provide a significant performance boost to your setup compared to your current CPU.
Have you considered AMD? They offer a 7600X3D bundle for around $440, or a new 7500X3D bundle for about $300 with 16GB of RAM. It could be a great option to switch to AM5 without breaking the bank, plus grants you access to newer tech.
I was under the impression that there was only a 16GB 7900GRE, but I was mistaken. Your card is indeed the 9070. Anyway, if you can get your hands on it, that upgrade should work wonders!
Just a heads up, I’m located in Norway, so this deal is actually for a used setup. Unfortunately, there's no Micro Center around here to compare prices with. Just thought I’d share that context!

Oops, thanks for the clarification! Sometimes these names get mixed up. What do you think about the Intel vs AMD choice?
