Is This Gaming PC Build Solid or a Disaster Waiting to Happen?

Hey all! I'm building my first gaming PC and could really use your advice. Here's the list I've come up with:

- **CPU**: AMD RX 7800X3D (I've already got this)
- **Motherboard**: Prime B650M-ATX (already purchased)
- **GPU**: I'm torn between getting the 5070 or splurging on the 9070XT—would love your thoughts on this!
- **RAM**: Is 32GB (2x16GB DDR4) good enough? Do brand differences matter much for RAM?
- **PSU**: Will a 750W power supply be sufficient? Does brand quality really play a role? I found a $60 one on Amazon—is that okay, or should I consider a more established brand like Corsair, even if it costs more? Also, what's the difference between the 80 ratings; is going with Gold over Silver/Platinum a big deal?
- **Storage**: Thinking about the Samsung 990 1TB.

I mainly use the PC for gaming and occasionally doing some rendering, modeling, and 3D work. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Definitely go with the 9070XT! It's around 20% faster and has more VRAM. Your build should be solid, no worries about it blowing up. Cheers!

Brands do matter for RAM. Make sure you’re getting a reputable one. As for PSUs, yes, spend a little more for peace of mind on reliability. Gold ratings are indeed better, providing more efficiency than silver or platinum. It's worth it in the long run!

Got it! I’ll check out the efficiency ratings more closely.

The motherboard you chose isn’t the best out there, but it should work fine. Just make sure you’re getting DDR5. And if you can, opt for the Samsung 990 EVO instead of the Pro for your storage; it might save you some cash while still delivering great performance.

You really should use DDR5 RAM, as the motherboard won't support DDR4. Aim for 6000 CL30 RAM for the best performance. As for the PSU, a 750W is generally enough, but I personally would recommend getting an 850W from a reputable brand like Seasonic—I've had a great experience with them. Plus, it won’t run at max wattage, just what it needs!

Thanks for the tip, I’ll definitely look into that!
