I'm looking for feedback on my planned PC build. Here's what I've got:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D
- **GPU**: Zohar RTX 5070Ti solid sff oc
- **PSU**: Corsair RM850x shift
- **RAM**: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB
- **SSD**: Samsung 990 Evo Plus
- **Motherboard**: ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E Hero
- **Air Cooling**: Noctua NH-D15 G2
- **PC Case**: Lian Li LANCOOL 216
Is everything compatible? Will it work well together? I'm not super tech-savvy, so I'd really appreciate any help!

If you’re only gaming, the 9950X3D is overkill. Most games don’t use all 16 cores, so you might want to consider the 9800X3D instead. Also, the Noctua NH-D15 Gen 2 is pricey; the Thermalright Phantom Spirit offers almost the same cooling power for way less.
I suggest swapping the SSD for the 990 Pro and ensuring your RAM is DDR 6000 CL30. The motherboard seems way too expensive for this setup—$1000 for a motherboard is overkill! But everything should work together just fine.
Whoops, I meant Samsung 990 Evo Plus for the SSD. And my RAM is indeed 6000 CL30.
The 990 Pro is not worth the extra cost; it won’t provide any real gaming benefit over the 990 Evo Plus.
Your build will work, but it might be a bit overkill depending on your usage. Are you planning to focus mainly on gaming with it?
Yeah, mainly gaming!
I do focus on gaming, but I also plan to do content creation and 3D modeling. The Phantom Spirit was actually my backup option!
