I'm new to Reddit and I'm planning to build a PC next month. I've put together a parts list but I'm not too experienced with this stuff. Here's what I've got:
- Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 GAMING OC 16G
- Thermaltake 270 View Plus
- Kingston Fury Beast 2x 16GB DDR5
- Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2
- Thermaltake TH420 V2 ARGB liquid cooling
- be quiet! Pure Power 12 1000 W
- Samsung Pro 990 2 TB
Do you think this is a solid build? Also, what kind of FPS can I expect from it? Thanks for your help!

You can definitely find benchmarks for the 7800X3D and RX 9070 on YouTube. Just keep in mind that FPS can vary based on game settings and resolution, so there's no one-size-fits-all answer.
With that build, you should be looking at over 1000 FPS in many scenarios! My setup with a 7800X3D and 7900XTX hits over 1000 easily, so you’re in for a treat!
That really depends on what games you're playing, at what resolution, and what settings you're using. The FPS can range from 0 to infinity!
Need to get myself one of those infinity monitors!
For your specs, here's a quick breakdown of FPS you can expect in popular games:
- **Cyberpunk 2077**: 85–120 FPS at 1080p (Ultra)
- **Red Dead Redemption 2**: 120–140 FPS at 1080p (Ultra)
- **Horizon Forbidden West**: 130–150 FPS at 1080p (Ultra)
- **Shadow of the Tomb Raider**: 350+ FPS at 1080p (Ultra)
- **GTA V**: 180+ FPS at 1080p (Ultra)
- **Forza Horizon 5**: 200+ FPS at 1080p (Ultra)
These numbers should help give you a better idea!
I didn't think about that... thanks for the tip!
