Is This PC Build Good for 1080p and 1440p Gaming?

Hey everyone! It's been about a year since I had to sell my PC, which had a 5800x3d, an 4080 GPU, and 32GB DDR4, all because of some financial crunches. I'm finally saving up again and looking to build a new rig this year. To be honest, 1080p gaming would be great for me, but I wouldn't mind if it could handle 1440p as well.

I want to mainly play games like Warhammer 40k: Darktide, Space Marine 2, and RPGs such as Path of Exile 2 and Diablo 4. Most of my other gaming will likely be indie titles and roguelikes.

I've read up about needing to use FSR/DLSS and Frame Generation in Darktide and Space Marine 2, which I did on my previous setup. My goal is to maximize frames and ideally have the game locked at my monitor's refresh rate.

Here's what I'm considering for the specs:

* 9060xt or 5070
* 9600x CPU
* 32GB DDR5 RAM (not sure about the MHz)
* The most affordable reliable motherboard I can find
* A budget-friendly but safe PSU
* 2TB SSD

Do you think this is a good setup for the games I want to play, or should I aim for something higher?

I think that build will handle 1080p gaming quite well, and it might even manage some 1440p performance. Just keep in mind that you probably won’t hit 120+ fps in every game at 1440p, and you may need to dial down some settings. Also, considering your financial situation, is now the best time to dive back into a PC build?

Yeah, everything's sorted now! I had to sell my rig due to issues with my newborn, but I'm ready to invest in a new build this year. Quick question, should I go for the 9060xt or the 5070?
