I'm looking for some feedback on my proposed PC build to see if it would be suitable for gaming. Here's the setup I'm considering, with all components and their prices included. I'd love to know if you think this is a solid choice or if there are any areas where I could cut costs or make improvements.

You could save around $400 by making some changes. Here’s an alternative list that covers a lot of the same performance, but for less: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HhTzNp
The power supply could use a second look. I recommend checking out a PSU tier list to ensure it's reliable. Also, the B850 motherboard could limit you down the line. An X870E chipset might be better for future upgrades and RAM compatibility.
Unless you're doing heavy video editing or working with large files, the 990 Pro SSD is overkill for gaming. You can find more value-oriented options without sacrificing performance.
Exactly! If you have a MicroCenter nearby, check their bundles. You can save a ton on RAM and other components.
This build looks solid for gaming, but I think you might want to reconsider the SSD. It seems overpriced for what you get, especially in today’s market. Also, a single fan for cooling might not be enough; you might want to look into adding more for better airflow.
I actually saw a 4TB M.2 drive at Best Buy recently for around $499. That could be a better deal if you're looking for storage without breaking the bank.

Good point! Just keep in mind that while the X870E adds USB 4, it might compromise PCIe lanes, which could lead to trade-offs with GPU performance if you add extra SSDs.
