I'm working on my first PC build and aiming to create a solid mid to high-end gaming setup with a budget of $2000. After some research, I've settled on these components: an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU, ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 cooler, MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK motherboard, Corsair Vengeance 32 GB DDR5 RAM, Gigabyte GAMING OC Radeon RX 9060 XT GPU, Fractal Design Define 7 XL case, and an MSI MPG A850G 850W power supply. I'm looking for honest feedback on whether this build holds up against today's standards, as I'm still a beginner when it comes to building PCs. I also know I need to update the BIOS to avoid any issues.

I think you'd be better off with a different motherboard and GPU. Check this link for a setup that might suit you better. It features an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, but I recommend a Gigabyte B850 AORUS ELITE motherboard and a Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU instead. You can save a bit of cash and still get high performance!

Do you really think a 120 AIO cooler is enough? I've heard these CPUs can run hot.
