I'm looking to build a new PC and want your thoughts on my current parts list. You can check it out here: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/r3Hnh7). I've got the following components:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 4.7 GHz
- CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15
- Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX X670E-F
- Memory: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB DDR5
- Storage: Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB SSD
- Video Card: NVIDIA RTX 4070
- Case: Lian Li LANCOOL III
- Power Supply: Corsair RM850x
- Operating System: Windows 11 Home
- Monitor: LG UltraGear 27" 240 Hz

The total comes to about $3195.13. Do you think these parts are a good choice or should I consider other options?

I would recommend considering the RTX 5070 Ti instead, which could save you some cash while actually offering better performance than the 4070. It really depends on what you plan to use your PC for, though.

Check out my list for a more budget-friendly build: [PCPartPicker List](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XTFYYd). I think you might not need all those cores for what you're doing. I've got recommendations for a better cooling solution, more RAM, a cheaper motherboard, and a good value case. The 4070 is end-of-life, so the 5070 Ti would give better performance for less cost. You can keep the performance up while cutting back on the total price!

Honestly, this list could be optimized a lot. I'd suggest sharing what you'll actually use the PC for. If it's mainly for 3D/2D animation and some gaming, you might not need such a high-end CPU like the Ryzen 9. Plus, you could save with a cheaper but effective cooler and SSD. The 4070 is also outdated—switching to the 5070 Ti could be a smarter pick!

Haha! I would assume so, since I've never owned a PC before. I mainly want it for animation and to play games with friends, but I'm not super into gaming.
