I'm working on setting up a new PC with a budget of under $2750 AUD. My current specs include an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor and a Radeon RX 9070 graphics card. I plan to purchase before the financial year ends and I'm not really worried about RGB lighting. Right now, I don't need a monitor but I will get one later. The PC will primarily be used for CAD design work and playing FPS games like Fortnite and Rainbow Six Siege. I'd prefer to buy from just a few retailers, but if I can save about $75-$100, I'm okay with using multiple stores. I'm based in Western Australia, where PLE and PCCG are my go-to shops. Any suggestions or feedback on my build would be greatly appreciated! Here's my part list: [PCPartPicker Part List](https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/7VtJZc)

You could tweak a few components to save some cash. Swap your motherboard to a Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi instead of the B850M to cut costs. And for storage, a 2TB Gen4 NVMe would be a great upgrade too! Just be cautious, those changes could push your total closer to 3K.
Your build is solid, but consider upgrading to a 2TB NVMe drive. With game sizes getting larger, 1TB fills up pretty quickly these days! Here's an alternative build I put together:
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- ARCTIC Freezer 36 CPU Cooler
- MSI MAG B850M MORTAR WIFI Motherboard
- Silicon Power XPOWER 32GB DDR5-6000
- 2TB TEAMGROUP MP44L Gen4 NVMe SSD
- PowerColor Reaper RX 9070
- Jonsbo D300 Case
- Silverstone 850W Power Supply
- Cost is around $2770 AUD.
This still keeps you under budget!
I like the idea of using a 2TB drive. I'm currently managing with a 1TB boot drive, but I'm planning to add a larger one down the track!
Is that new GPU going to provide any better performance? I'm not well-versed in GPU specs, just trying to go for something that looks good in the case!
Yeah, that could definitely hike the price! I’m trying to stick under $2750 as much as possible.
