I'm about to pull the trigger on a new PC build costing around £3,000, and I could really use some advice. I've researched a lot about the components but want to make sure I'm getting the best value for my money before I commit. I'm aiming for a setup that will last me at least five years for gaming—mainly titles like WoW Retail, Diablo 4, Cyberpunk, and RDR2—primarily at 1440p with potential for 4K in the future. Additionally, I'll be doing some photo editing using Lightroom Classic and Photoshop. The specs I'm considering are: a FRACTAL DEFINE 7 BLACK QUIET MID-TOWER CASE, AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, ASUS TUF GAMING B850-PLUS WIFI Motherboard, 64GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 RAM, 16GB MSI GEFORCE RTX 5070 Ti GPU, 2TB CRUCIAL T705 GEN 5 M.2 SSD, 8TB CORSAIR MP600 PRO NH SSD, a CORSAIR 750W Power Supply, and a PCS FrostFlow 200 Cooling System with extra 120mm Thermaltake TOUGHFAN. My previous rig includes a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, 16GB RAM, and a GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER. I briefly considered the Ryzen 7 7800X3D as an upgrade but didn't think the price difference justified it. I also worried the storage might be too much but wanted to ensure I don't run out of space again. Any advice on whether this is overkill or just right would be greatly appreciated!

I noticed you have an 8TB storage option there. Do you really need all that? Also, your power supply is a bit underwhelming. Consider something like an 850W unit to ensure you have headroom for future upgrades. Check out some models like the Montech Century II 1050W—it's gold certified and fully modular, which can help with cable management too!
I'm currently managing around 3TB of photos and videos, plus another 1TB for games. I might be able to free up some space if I get organized, but I'm a bit lazy about it. The extra storage is just for peace of mind, but I'll definitely consider upgrading that power supply!
