I found some G.SKILL Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5 RAM on sale: it's 32GB (2x16GB) with a speed of 7200MT/s and a CL34 rating, priced at about $160. I'm planning to use this in a build with a 5070 or 5070ti GPU. Is this RAM worth it?

You might not hit that speed with your current CPU. What’re you thinking of for an upgrade?
I'm just taking what I can get at this point, haha!
It's decent, but don't stress too much about RAM specs right now. Just grab what you can!
Just FYI, if you're building on AM5, expect to do some manual tweaks. This RAM is fine for Intel setups, but for AMD, especially the 5070/5070ti, the platform matters more than the GPU. You might not get the advertised speed without some adjustments.
I think the OP might be able to run it at 6000 MHz CL30 with some tweaks, or just go with that in a 1:1 ratio.
Honestly, it seems a bit too good to be true. If possible, test it out at a local PC shop before committing.

I'm planning on upgrading to an AMD processor as well!
